Overheard At The Polls

As I stood in line this morning to vote, I overheard the following conversation between my children:

#4 (age 6) : Why do we have to vote? 

#2 ( age 10 ) : To tell the government what to do and how to behave.

#4 : Why can’t we just let them do what they want?

#2 : Because that would be despotism and tyranny.
