Burpees. I hate them and I love them. It’s weirdly schizophrenic. I hate how hard they are and how much it hurts to do them. I love how strong I feel for the first 10-20.

We’re now over halfway through the challenge at the gym. I’m in a tight race for 1st place now. It’s all going to come down to the body fat lost. I’ve lost 5 lbs on the scale, but I know it’s more than that because I have definitely put on some muscle.

I’m amazed at how much younger I have begun to feel in the past few months. I thought the malaise I lived in was being in my late 30s. Turns out that it was being a couch potato. There are times at the gym when I’m jumping, swinging, running…..and just plain playing that I feel like a girl at recess. I’ve missed recess. Haven’t you?
