Sony Pictures has released the first look of two-time Oscar-winner Tom Hanks as beloved children’s television host Fred Rogers in You Are My Friend. The film is scheduled to release in October 2019. The film reportedly focuses on a friendship Rogers had with journalist Tom Junod, who became familiar with each other during a 1998 profile on the star for Esquire magazine.
