A former high school English teacher and non-profit director, Cara Meredith, left the traditional workforce nearly a decade ago to pursue writing and speaking. Author of The Color of Life, a spiritual memoir about her journey as a white woman into issues of justice, race, and privilege, she loves helping readers think about what it means to color outside of the lines and embrace mystery. When it comes to writing, she fiercely believes in setting a timer, usually at half-hour increments. “It’s amazing what can happen when you avoid checking social media and email for 30 minutes, and simply let your fingers do the talking,” she recently stated. Cara loves connecting with those from a variety of spiritual traditions and would love to connect with other Patheos writers.
