The Heretic Happy Hour Podcast, hailed by many as the premier progressive Christian podcast in America, is gearing up for an exciting relaunch on May 7th, 2024.

Embracing a new weekly panel format, the podcast looks to once again ignite discussions that challenge conventions, inspires, and entertain listeners.

For the past seven years, The Heretic Happy Hour Podcast has grown a loyal following with its engaging conversations, pushing the boundaries of traditional religious discourse.

Now, with its relaunch, the show aims to soar to greater heights by introducing a dynamic panel format featuring some of the most influential voices in theology, activism, and entertainment.

An impressive lineup of panelists promises diverse perspectives and thought-provoking insights. Among them are:

Emmy-nominated actor Rainn Wilson, renowned comedian and SiriusXM host John Fugelsang, bestselling author and activist Shane Claiborne, and award-winning drag queen musician Flamy Grant, among others.

“We’re incredibly excited to relaunch the Heretic Happy Hour Podcast with this new panel format,” shares Keith Giles, one of the co-hosts and co-founders of the podcast. “We believe that bringing together such a diverse group of voices will not only provide fresh perspectives on age-old questions but also foster meaningful dialogue and connection in a world that often feels divided.”

The revamped podcast will feature three episodes per week, with hour-long panel discussions dropping every Tuesday. Additionally, listeners can anticipate a Friday Bonus Episode, where co-hosts Keith Giles and Matthew Distefano will recap the week’s events, and a solo Sunday episode hosted by Matthew Distefano, delving into politics, religion, and more.

“People used to love our old Hotline, so we’re bringing it back,” he says. “Fans can call and leave a voicemail at 530-332-8020, and we’ll respond to questions and comments on our Friday Bonus episodes.”

In addition to the impressive lineup already mentioned, the Heretic Happy Hour Podcast will feature other well-known guests, including Lisa Sharon Harper, a renowned speaker,
