Mandaeism ARAM Conference July 2019 May 2, 2018

There are two conferences coming up in July 2019 that ARAM Society for Syro-Mesopotamian Studies will be organizing. I’ve heard conflicting dates for the one on the Mandaeans (July 11-12 or 12-14) but we can at least mark our calendars approximately for the time being. Here are the details from the ARAM website:

The conference aims to study the Naj Hammadi Scriptures, the Valentinians, the Mysteries of Mithra, Hermes, Aridaeus, Didymos, the Hymn of Jesus, the Acts of John, the Chaldean Oracles, the Manichaeans, the Mandaeans, and others.

The conference will start on Monday 11th July at 9am finishing on Friday 13th July at 7pm. Each speaker’s paper is limited to 35 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for discussion.
