There is much emphasis on notoriety and fame in our society. The media keeps giving us the message: What counts is to be known, praised, and admired, especially in limelight perceived career paths. Real greatness is often hidden and unobtrusive. We get the notion we are not worthy without public acknowledgment. We must have strong self-confidence in our talents combined with deep humility. Some of the greatest works have been created by people who had no need for the limelight. They may be celebrated, but more importantly knew that what they were doing was fulfilling their call.
