Celebrating Life in Communion

Intimacy around a table in communion with one another is a place of power, vision, and service. Because the table is meant to be an intimate place, it sometimes becomes a place void of intimacy. Human nature can easily make it a place of distance, hostility, and even hatred. The table often reveals the tensions among us, and when there are tense silences, the table is a place we least want to be. Coming together in love is essential for family and community life. Let’s do everything possible to make it a place to celebrate our lives, “As One!”
