Peacefully Seeking to Understand by Robert Ricciardelli

Peacefully Seeking to Understand by Robert Ricciardelli May 2, 2012

When we seek to understand rather than demand to be understood, the quality of our relationships go up, and transformational unity can build authentic community. We must understand that sometimes we do not know, what we do not know, until it becomes absolutely known. The more I have come to know, the more I realize how much I have to yet to discover. I have realized, “I know what I know, I know what I don’t know, but I don’t know what I do not know, until it is revealed.” There are things that have yet to be revealed to me or I have yet to see, and some will remain a mystery to me in this life. I am thankful that God’s grace covers us for the unknowing parts of life. Will we give that same grace to each other?

Do you seek to understand what others know or believe, or do you demand that they believe as you do?

Are you okay with living in the peace of God while His wisdom and understanding unfolds for you?

Will you be at peace with the unknown mysteries yet to be discovered with God and each other?
