The Dangers of Playing the Blame Game by Robert Ricciardelli

The Dangers of Playing the Blame Game by Robert Ricciardelli November 8, 2012

Engaging in the blame game is a waste of time. No matter what someone may have done, how much fault you find with another, and regardless of how much you want to blame them, it still does not change you. When you are looking for external reasons to explain your unhappiness or frustration you may look for others to blame. While this keeps the focus off of you, the real problem remains to be a destructive poison within you. You may succeed in making another feel guilty about something by blaming or shaming them, but you will not succeed in discovering and then changing whatever it is about you that is making you unhappy. Do not do the blame game, it does not work. Look within, talk to God, discover what the real issues are. As you move to forgiveness, releasing, and healing, the peace of God will reign in your heart once more.

Do you find yourself blaming others for your problems?

Have you taken the time to reflect and realize that it does not work?

Will you choose to not blame and instead, go within yourself and work it out with God?
