Dr. James Makubuya, my former Wabash colleague and world-renowned musician and ethnomusicologist, has become a very good friend over the past few weeks of preparing and recording Sister Stella’s album, Harambee. Here is a short, funny clip that I happened to capture between him and me. It was later in the day and things were getting a little stressful so he began making jokes in his disarming, beautifully African way.
