The Way of Repentance by Chris Brauns explores, well, the way of repentance. What do we do when we do wrong? That is a question that not only every Christian, but every person will have to answer at some point in their lives. Fortunately not only does the Bible give us an answer to this question, it is an answer which is to define every aspect of the Christian life.

If you want the full details you should of course read the book yourself. But the short version is that Brauns explores the nature and practice of repentance by combining Biblical exposition, narratives from a career of pastoral counseling, and the best insights from the Christian tradition.
What’s more, he does this with pastoral decency and gentle encouragement for us to bend our knees under the weight of our sin and look to the cross for the forgiveness we all need.
This is, quite frankly, an excellent book and I am happy to recommend it. It should be on your shelf, given to a pastor, and available to hand out to friends.
