Why Married People Should Download this Dating App (Yes, for Real) March 31, 2017

Happy Friday everyone! Today, I just want to share some brief insight into Vouch, the dating app I posted about on Instagram yesterday.

Vouch was the brainchild of two of my best friends Austin Eudaly and Kevin Tinkle, both of whom were groomsmen in my wedding. Austin and Kevin told me about their idea when it was just that- an idea. They described it as an app that might be able to provide accountability and transparency in dating that would ultimately lead to a higher success rate in successful relationships. The concept was simple- allow your best friends and family members to help you find a date. So old married couples like Catherine and me would be able to look for quality matches for Kevin and Austin. We would be their “vouchers.”

The one thing that Kevin and Austin kept repeating that caught my attention was that they wanted a dating app that was wholesome. In other words, they didn’t want another app that is all about hooking up or an app that helps you find dates based solely on looks, but a dating app that hopefully would create layers of accountability and that would help find quality potential matches for single guys and girls like themselves. I liked the idea and the intention behind it when they told me about it many months ago and that’s why Catherine and I wanted to help them build it and promote it.

But here’s the tricky part about creating a dating app- you have to have a solid user base or it doesn’t work. So we’re hoping you’ll support the idea as well and download the app and spread the word. Old married people like me, lets find good dates for our single friends. To the singles out there, try trusting your closest friends and let’s see what happens.
