Films Oscar Forgot 2008

Some of the films I would like to have seen get more attention by the Academy this year are:

Quantum of Solace

Although my initial review reflected disappointment, I was invited to take a deeper look by a friend; I even gave it one of my CineRose Awards in St. Anthony Messenger because of its moral dimension:  Quantum of Solace. I also think the Academy missed the cinematography which from the beginning I thought was brilliant (the opera scene, the visual parallels, awesome.)
