Pregnant non-denial denial

Pregnant non-denial denial March 24, 2004

"Had my administration had any information that terrorists were going to attack New York City on September the 11th, we would have acted."

— Pres. George W. Bush, March 23, 2004

So Mrs. Jones has long suspected that her husband has been unfaithful. Most recently, she's become convinced that he is having an affair with his young secretary.

She confronts Mr. Jones.

"I did not have sex with my secretary," Mr. Jones says, "in New York City on the 13th of March."

Mrs. Jones is greatly relieved that her husband was able to provide her such a categorial denial, one that allows absolutely no ambiguity or wiggle room.
