Think of this post as me busking, only without all the music and singing

I’ve never quite conquered the budgetary arithmetic of February. It’s a short month, so some daily expenses don’t have to be stretched for as many days. But also because it’s a short month, some monthly expenses come up a few days sooner than you might like. Since creditors tend to prefer monthly schedules, I suspect the latter has more of an effect.

Or, at least, that’s how it feels at the moment, which is why this is, alas, a fundraising post.
