Been working so hard

You know what this blog needs? More threads. More open threads especially. So I’m going to try something for a bit to see if this works.

Zora Neale Hurston (born January 7, 1891) wrote, “There are years that ask questions and years that answer.” I think this may be both of those years.

Mr. Kenneth Clark Loggins was born January 7, 1948. I miss the days when rebellion against white evangelicalism just meant dancing in a barn instead of having to protest against a mobbed-up president who puts children in cages.

Today is also the birthday of Millard Fillmore, so it’s a good day to check in at Millard Fillmore’s Bathtub, and perhaps reread the story of the hoax that gives Ed Darrell’s fine blog its name.
