Patheos Turns Five! Religion, Violence, and Let’s Party!

Happy 5th Anniversary Patheos!

In just five short years, Patheos has become the go to website for an open exchange of ideas about religion. We have watched with admiration as their  respect for the variety of religious expression has created a safe space for debate around honest, sometimes difficult questions.

So we are delighted to be joining Patheos as a new blog during this celebration! We share the Patheos insight that understanding the role of religion in our lives is essential to the peace and prosperity of the entire planet. At Teaching Nonviolent Atonement we hope to engage the difficult questions about peace, violence and religion across the entire spectrum of Patheos portals. In asking those difficult questions, we hope to join Patheos in our common mission to build communities of respect, honesty, and peace.

So happy anniversary Patheos! We look forward to sharing many more anniversaries in the years to come.
