Fun pics from World Youth Day

I have a pal up in Canada who has told me that the WYD up there (in 2000) was a stunner that took the secular city by surprise, and in good ways. I hope it will be good for Cologne. My husband was there a few years ago and thought the city and the cathedral so uniquely lovely he did a rare thing and brought back a touristy little booklet for me, which I loved.

Anyway – all that aside, Amy has some really fun pictures of the folks starting to gather in Cologne. They seem very joyful!
