Ah, it’s approaching fast! I have two suggestions for you, and neither of ’em will make you fat!

First, the good Carmelite Monks behind Mystic Monk Coffee offer their “Chocolate Cherry Coffee” in regular or decaf, and it is delish. I am not usually a fan of chocolate flavors in my coffee, but we picked up a bag of this and it really is chocolate-cherry tasty. I usually drink it with just milk, but occasionally I’ll use a little sugar and whipped cream for a treat. Either way, we’ll be ordering up another bag for February.

I also highly recommend the Rosarium Mariea Soap from the Dominican Nuns at Summit, NJ.

This has become my very favorite soap; as soon as the water hits it, the whole room is suffused with the scent of roses – it’s heavenly! But even better, the soap contains both silk and shea butter; after using it for a week, my skin has never felt so soft or smooth.

Another idea: I have written in the past about my favoritest boots in the world; they’re black cowboy boots with big red hearts on them; I’ve had them since Buster was in pre-school. These days I only bring them out for Valentine’s Day, but you know, shoes and boots are always good!

Or, you know, Long, red velveteen gloves

If you must give chocolate, there is always the scrumptious and completely sinful Toffeehouse Toffee. Over Christmas, the Ross family sent us a very generous sample of their newest offering, Emma’s English Toffee, and I came to love that even more than The Dangerous Stuff. Of course, now I am even chubbier than I was, but that’s no one’s fault but mine. And God’s fault too, for making chocolate so delicious…
