If this is for real, it’s just too, too sad

It’s too sad on too many levels.

When I finished her lower lip started to tremble and her eyes began to fill with tears, “Daddy” she said, “why are the Republicans doing this to the country?” Well, that was it for me: I finally fell apart. She just fell into my arms and we both began sobbing for several minutes.

A grown man, who writes a lot like a woman, collapses into the arms of his young daughter because President Bush was sent to Iraq by his boss, Karl Rove to divert attention from a possible indictment that did not come through…oh, hold me, this country is going to hell in a handbasket.

This has to be satire. Please tell me it is satire. If it is not, it’s…it’s just so damn sad.
