The Stoopid…It Hurts! Rabbinical Edition

Just when I was wondering when I would find something appropriate for my next post, “The Stoopid…It Hurts!” it was provided for me by one Rabbi Eliyahu Abergil.  He has issued a p’sak halakha (Jewish legal ruling) that it is forbidden to listen to gay and lesbian musicians:

As reported in Maariv NRG:

In his ruling, he states unequivocally that “there is an absolute prohibition on hearing or playing the music of gay or lesbian musicians because they pass along messages that will ruin youth and influence them to behave as they do.”

…He further added that “….Nothing good comes from them.  Their behavior comes from their sexual problems.  All they have to give our innocent children are negative and dangerous messages.”

This same rabbi previously ruled that women were prohibited from wearing the color red because it was licentious.  What a sicko.

He could be right about the gay music, though.  I’ve always thought Elton John had hidden secret pro-gay messages in Hakuna Matata.  Or was it Crocodile Rock?  Either way.
