Atheism Is Not A Religion

Here’s proof positive that you can be an atheist and still be a wackadoodle.

The Raelians are putting up billboards that say “God is a Myth.”  While this may be true, it does not mean that Raelians are sane.  Here’s a little sample of their beliefs:

Thousands of years ago, scientists from another planet came to Earth and created all forms of life, including human beings, whom they created in their own image.  …Due to their highly advanced technology, they were considered as gods by our primitive ancestors and often referred to as ‘Elohim’ which in ancient Hebrew meant ‘Those who came from the sky’.

Particularly annoying is their symbol, a mix of a Star of David and swastika.

For those of you who claim that atheism is a religion, please take note of the silliness of that claim.

Atheists can be ridiculous, too.
