Once again the forces of religious coercion in Israel are flexing their ever burgeoning muscles.  Granted new power by their stranglehold on the coalition, they’ve now begun to overthrow the age-old religious “status quo” on many issues.

This time it’s buses in Tel Aviv.  Whereas in the past they would begin to run at 6:30pm, they will now be held until 8:30pm.  This will inconvenience a large number of secular people.  But it appears that what secular people want is no match for what the Aibishter demands.
