… The Rome/Malta trip planned for November 9-23 has been canceled due to logistical problems. … my best friend is fond of referring to Catholics as private club members. I try to tell her, while yes it is a club to some extent, it isn’t exclusive. Maybe she just doesn’t understand the intrinsic nature that Catholicism enmeshes itself into your very core. It’s not something to do on a Sunday or simply a preference for liturgical styles.
