stories of public people and their spirituality. wants to discover god in the

* i discovered the words that i had heard in church in a completely different way and i wanted to know more
* i had experienced god in a place where others say he can’t be, as in rock and roll.
* did about 22 or 23 interviews starting in may and the book was done in september
* interviewed hugh hefner of playboy, melissa etheridge, bono and many others
* everybody if you really sit them down has doubts about their faith
* ‘my religious life is like an obstacle course where i am trying to dodge what you might think are weird and wonderful people who are sometime dangerous, dangerous in the since that spiritual abuse is like any kind of physical or sexual abuse it brings you to a place where you can’t ever face the subject again.’ bono
* almost everyone in the book reached a point to where there was a person that made them either run toward god or away from god.
