A Heavenly Network

A Heavenly Network July 6, 2023

In our age of technology, we notice everything around us moving at warp speed. Time is moving so fast that it seems hard to catch up to complete our basic tasks. Using technology, people can connect in real-time. Although they may be miles away, technology bridges the gap.

As we communicate with loved ones in different States or countries, one thing is essential you will need a secure connection. A secure connection is s a strong network. For example, if I wanted to have live video streaming, one element I need to check is my video bandwidth.

Some advantages of having a strong connection are:

  • It allows convenience and instant accessibility
  • We have a broader reach that breaks down geographical barriers. The border reach allows connections from different locations.
  • Real-time Interaction helps to provide direct communication.

As a result, the body of Christ is comparable to a computer network. Through Jesus, we have a solid, reliable relationship with God. The parable of the vinedresser in the Book of John teaches us about this.

John 15:1-8 ‘ I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. ‘

As Jesus speaks to the disciples about abiding in the vine, we understand that this means Jesus is the support. We are the branches of the vine if we stay connected with Jesus. When we have a secure connection with Jesus, we abide in him. Abide means to dwell, endure, and remain in His Heavenly Network. We will bear much fruit when we remain (abide, connect) to Jesus. Our fruit will happen organically, transforming us into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ.

However, suppose we allow our connection to God’s Heavenly network to become disconnected. In that case, we are now cutting ourselves off from a vital union (connection) with Jesus, which will hinder us from accomplishing anything.

Through prayer, bible study, fasting, and building an organic relationship with God, we can maintain a strong connection and open lines of communication with God. Following these processes, we can keep our close relationship with God and His heavenly network.

Are you looking to become productive, to produce fruit in the Kingdom of God? Plug into God’s Heavenly Network, and like the connection we need for video chat, you will experience the ability to communicate, access, and break down any barriers hindering you from abiding. Jesus Christ has all the provisions to keep our connection strong in his kingdom.
