The Quorus: A New Group Blog From Quoir Publishing April 25, 2023

Welcome to The Quorus, a new group blog from Quoir Publishing. I’ll be the editor over here, and you may know me from my Patheos blog, All Set Free. If you don’t, head on over there and see what I’m all about (but only after reading this entry).

Because here’s the thing: this blog isn’t about me (cry for me!). It’s about the chorus of voices that will be introducing themselves over the coming weeks, all of which are authors that have published and continue to publish great books with our burgeoning boutique publishing company.

What will we be talking about?

Anything. Everything. From faith to politics to ethics and philosophy to race and sexuality and, perhaps most importantly, the intersectionality between all these things. And the beautiful thing is that we are a diverse group of theologians and therapists, professors and prophets, and mystics and misfit, so no matter where you fall on the spectrum of these categories, you’ll be sure to find someone you resonate with over here.

That said, I would encourage you to subscribe to this channel because in the coming days, weeks, and months, we are going to be putting out some really great content. And though I’m not sure about a lot of things these days – especially when it comes to matters of faith – one thing I am sure about is the quality of the writers that we have on our team. To date, here’s who is among them:

Heather Hamilton, author of Returning to Eden
Dan Henderson, author of Confessions of a Recovering Evangelical
Desimber Rose, author of The Church Can Go to Hell
Nat Turney, co-host of This Is Not Church
Jenny Marshall, author of Death by Chocolate Cake
Brandon Andress, author of What Can’t Be Hidden
Jon Turney, co-host of This Is Not Church
Maria Francesca French, author of Safer than the Known Way
Derrick Day, former co-host of Heretic Happy Hour
Jeff Turner, editor of Quoir Classics
Matte Downey, author of the forthcoming Go Wide
Yvette Cantu Schneider, star of the documentary Pray Away
Nick Vleisides, author of Used to Go to Church

As we move forward, I’m sure we’ll add more great contributors to the list, expanding our ever-growing chorus of quality authors. In the meantime, be on the lookout for the first blog post later this week.

And welcome to The Quorus!
