About

J.M. Birch is a law student from South Carolina. Being raised Southern Baptist, he converted to Catholicism in college after a journey of several years and a few churches. During that time he also took a number of courses in religious studies, operated a podcast on comparative religion, and took an intensive amateur study of theology. Out of these studies comes a desire to plumb the depths and varieties of Christian belief, explore the various possible readings of Catholic doctrine, seek new meeting points between Catholics and other Christians, and encourage others to take a more human, holistic view of religious faith. He holds a BA in Spanish with a minor in music.
