Abortion Is Murder: The Horror of the Gosnell Practice

If you haven’t read up on the Kermit Gosnell infanticide trials, today is the day to do so. The Gospel Coalition has nine facts to know about Gosnell. World magazine has posted numerous stories on the abortionist, even as NBC, CBS, and ABC have essentially ignored the story. Here’s a documentary on Gosnell’s abominable work that I’ve posted before (graphic images).

If you haven’t taken note of this before, let me encourage you to do so today. Folks from across the pro-life spectrum are spreading the news about this practice on social media. This is a rare opportunity to highlight the true nature of abortion: murder. Whether the clinic is clean or dirty and the staff is friendly or surly, abortion-on-demand is murder, barbarism, and our society has turned its face from this truth.

The Gosnell story is noteworthy because it encompasses the worst of abortion culture. But abortion is an abomination. In the Gosnell trials, we’re seeing the underbelly of this sordid world. Here’s an excerpt from the TGC piece:

7. On January 31, 1998, a then 15 year old Robyn Reid sought an abortion from Gosnell’s clinic. Once she was in the clinic, though, Reid, an 87-pound teenager at the time, told Gosnell she changed her mind about the abortion. She claims Gosnell got upset, ripped off her clothes, restrained her, and repeatedly told her, “This is the same care that I would give to my own daughter.” Reid regained consciousness 12 hours later at her aunt’s home, with the abortion having been completed against her will.
