It’s been so long since I’ve done 7QTs! I missed it! So what’s up with ya’ll? Well, over here, it’s been crazy which is the theme of my life! I was accepted into a Philosophy program at Holy Apostles College & Seminary and I decided to take 3 summer classes right off the bat. That is insane yo! I was pretty sure that my brain was going to break, but I made it and it was so much fun to be learning and using the things that I’ve already learned about my faith for a purpose. In the middle of summer my uncle was diagnosed with Stage VI Prostate cancer. It has spread to his bones. I took time off to go visit him and spend some time with him and my Tia. It was great to be there and let them know that I loved them, but it put me behind in classes. Luckily, I pulled it off and passed.

My Tio and Tia mean the world to me. I had a GoFundMe up to try and raise money from them but a lot of people told me that they couldn’t donate if I used GoFundMe for whatever reason, so I took it down and created a Youcaring account to try and help them raise money for their medical expenses. If you find it in your heart to donate, I greatly appreciate it. If you can’t, I understand but please pray for them! They have worked their whole lives to have what they need and to help others, now they need help to pay for their medical expenses.

I was on Jennifer Fulwiler’s show yesterday! It was so much awesome. I had a lot of fun talking about Straight Outta Compton (which was AMAZING) and my reality TV addiction. I have gotten a lot of great comments, tweets and messages about how great the show was. Thank you! I enjoyed it to the max.

School starts in FOUR days! I am so excited to be back on schedule and to have my kids in school. They love school and they love learning and working towards their life goals. I can’t wait to see what this school year has for them. My second son is a junior this year so he gets to go to Jr. prom! I’m so excited.

I had the greatest breakthrough about this marriage thing this past Sunday at Mass. After I received Christ in the Eucharist as I was kneeling and praying it hit me that I am not supposed to “fix” my husband, I am supposed to let God love him through me. I am the vessel that God uses to love my husband. That means not being rude, snarky or controlling with him. That’s huge because I have had a hard time with those things. I have tried to control every person in my life and it never works.

I’ve been interviewing a lot of my favorite bloggers on my show and authors who have written some great books. If you have missed any of my shows, go catch up by listening to the podcasts here!

AHHHHH! Can you feel fall in the air? It’s been 105 degrees around here for what seems like forever and that weather pattern finally broke yesterday. It was 80 degrees and we all felt like it was winter. I have never been so excited to see what the future holds for us. Please pray for us!
