Top 10 Life Lessons My Grandkids are Learning from Donald Trump
Never engage with substance or a listening ear. Instead, call them liars or tell them to shut up.

1.  When people disagree with you, call them stupid.

2.  Never engage with substance or a listening ear. Instead, call them liars or tell them to shut up.

3.  When people bring up things you’ve said in the past, call them liars. If that doesn’t work, threaten to sue them.

4.  Make grandiose promises but never give any details. When pressed for details, simply say, “Trust me. It will be great. You will love it. We will get it done.”

5.  Use vulgar language at public events. However, always preface it by saying, “I’m not going to say this but **^&%##. But I’m not going to say that.”

6.  It is fair game to call into question the faith of others. And if someone calls your faith into question, call the comment disgraceful.

7.  Make sure you create a big enemy out of someone. It’s especially helpful if you cast a whole group of people as the enemy, using a few extremists as proof that they are all bad.

8.  Being thinned skinned is an asset. It fuels the attack mode. Never fail to attack. It’s ok for you to do so. But if someone attacks you, legitimate or not, see the first point.

9. Remember, it’s not about substance. What’s important is acting like you know what you are talking about. Be decisive. Speak with authority no matter what you say.

10. Always remember that people love you. That gives you permission to say anything about anyone or anything…no matter how cruel or mean-spirited. The nastier the better. Because you could shoot someone and people will still love you.

Is this what we want to model for our kids? For our country? For our world? Is this the kind of leadership we aspire to?  What does it profit a people to vote with their collective middle finger and yet lose their souls?

(Anyone wanting to take issue with anything I’ve said, I refer you to the first point.)
