A story of longing, of two beings who love yet come from different worlds. A love so strong, it changes all the rules. I’m talking of course, of frog and pig.               But, of course, there’s always the lonely WereRowlf. Where will he find love? Read more

Bottom Line: This Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts movie about a guy rolling up his sleeves and dealing with financial hardship through hard work should be just the thing for our times. So why is it so boring and strange? Read our original review. More info after the jump. (more…) Read more

We have one copy of “Little Angels” to give away! Look past the jump for instructions. Roma Downey, who played the angel Monica on the popular TV series “Touched by an Angel,” has a favorite motherhood prayer which she shared with SixSeeds when we talked by phone last week. “God in Heaven, my savior dear, Watch over my children and draw them near. Grade: C – Who Should See It: Adults and some teens whose parents are comfortable with graphic violence in battle scenes. Rating: R for strong bloody violence and a sexual scene (brief, but showing nudity and sex, obscured by shadows) Bottom Line: No one can deny the stunning visuals of the film, but the storyline is weak and confusing and some of the scenes are downright ridiculous. And not in a good way. Full review after the jump. (more…) Read more

Grade: B Who Should See It: Tween girls and the people who love them. Rating: PG with nothing that pushes the PG envelope. Bottom Line: This story about real friendship features a beautiful relationship between a girl and a horse with a refreshing innocence. It’s as good as Hannah Montana, or as painful, depending on your perspective. Full review after the jump. (more…) Read more

“Cars 2” is out on DVD today. Bottom Line: It’s preachy and silly and slow at times, but it’s from Pixar and even their worst is better than most of the rest. Read our original review. (more…) Read more
