If I ask you really nice will you put it in your pants,

Stop waving it in my face,

Doin’ that funky chicken dance.

Here’s a little green, some smokes, and some rum,

Show me what we’re working with I know it will be fun.

The honored ancestors are called Maman, Baron, Oya and Egun

They’re best fed at night, under the stars, under the moon.

We will plant you some flowers, laugh and pour out some wine,

Comfortable in the thought that someday we could all be divine.
