How Does Zāḏôn connect Donald Trump And Elon Musk?

How Does Zāḏôn connect Donald Trump And Elon Musk? November 3, 2024

This week there has continued to be more fallout over Donald Trump and his rallies as he continued to push the anti-Christian and anti-America Maga agenda. Trump is desperately trying to convince voters that he is our only hope and savior.

Trump Rally

In place of trusting in God, they trust in themselves and Trump. Instead of being the salt and light of the world, Maga continues to push their anti-Christian and anti-America narrative.

  • Greed
  • Pride
  • Selfishness
  • Deception

The most concerning thing for me is his continued threats against fellow Americans who don’t support his vengeful banter and anti-Christian policies. It is either his way or no way and that is the epitome of an antichrist because Mr. Trump thinks only he knows what is best for America.

True to character, Mr. Trump is consumed with his own greatness and wealth which the Bible constantly warns God’s people about (Proverbs 26:12; 27:2, Jeremiah 9:23, 2 Timothy 3:1-5.) Mr. Trump’s narcissistic ways have made him into his own god who will not bow down to the true God. Narcissists are blinded by their own pride and vanity (Proverbs 18:12.)

What Is Narcissism?

Narcissism is defined as, “A mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them.”

Satan himself was a narcissist, his pride and vanity caused him to aspire to be greater than God (Ezekiel 28:12-18.) Narcissists only serve themselves. Freud took the name narcissist from the Greek God of vanity.

The Bible warns God’s people about falling for the lies and tricks of Satan (2 Corinthians 11:3, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Ephesians 6:11, 1 Peter 5:8.) The Apostles remembered their Jewish education about selfish narcissists.

Zāḏôn

The ancient world’s lust for power and selfish gains led to the rise of antichrists that believed their power success and strength made them gods, from Egyptian pharaohs to Roman and Greek emperors, their rule was unquestionable and indestructible. These narcissists sought to rule the world.

The Hebrew word in the Old Testament for narcissist is zāḏôn and it is literally translated as, “Proud, arrogance, or presumptuously,” depending on the context it is used in.

These rulers often abused their power and positions and led others astray. It’s easy to see why God warned His people to avoid these false gods who only cared about themselves and their own glory (Job 40:12, Proverbs 8:13, Jeremiah 13:15.)

God’s nature puts others and the creation first, and Narcissism puts self first (Psalm 86:15, Zephaniah 3:17.) This is how the selfish ways of the world are the opposite of God’s righteous and loving nature.

  5. Self-serving

This selfish anti-God and worldliness continues into the New Testament. Emperor Caesar Augustus was notorious for his narcissistic tendencies. Caesar thought he was a god and wanted to lead his people to heaven under his rule.

Jesus opposed the Roman Empire and their earthly kingdom because His kingdom is not of this world (John 18:36.) Much to the disappointment of His followers, Jesus warned them that the greatest on earth would be the least in heaven and the least of earth will be the greatest in heaven (Matthew 20:15-16.)

The teachings of Jesus contradict the beliefs, claims, and actions of Mr. Trump and his fellow narcissist Elon Musk. Elon Musk will go down in history as one the greatest techies and businessmen and possibly one of the richest also; however, like Mr. Trump, he fails to realize that no one can buy their way into heaven (Ephesians 2:8-9.) Narcissists will never understand this basic Christian teaching.

Elon Musk

Mr. Musk’s success like Mr. Trump’s has blinded him to a basic spiritual truth, earthly greatness doesn’t equate to spiritual greatness (1 Corinthians 1:18-27.) They have failed to learn a basic Christian teaching, God’s people are to fix their eyes on heaven, not earth and its pleasures (Matthew 6:20, Colossians 3:1-25.)

While Mr. Musk’s technology and money may help him reach the stars, they don’t guarantee he will make it to heaven (Matthew 7:21-23.) God’s people should know better than to put their hope into earthly success and temporary greatness (Romans 12:1-4.)

Narcissists believe they can save themselves and the world, but Scripture is clear God is our only hope and Savior. It is God who gives wealth and puts governments in place (Deuteronomy 8:18, Romans 13:1-7.)

As the people of God we must rely On Him and not on ourselves or power-hungry narcissists who are the opposite of the all-powerful God we serve.

  • Selfish
  • Prideful
  • Deceptive
  • Greedy

the Bible warns us about the last days and how many believers will turn from sound teaching to whatever tickles their ears (Matthew 24:10-12, 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 1 Timothy 4:1, 2 Peter 3:3.) It is sad when you see people who claim to serve God so easily turn to zāḏôn!
