This week a US-made lander touched down on the moon for the first time in over 50 years. The mission’s purpose is to explore the South Pole for a future manned landing in 2026. The Lander is gathering data on the essentials needed to sustain life. Water Sunlight Shade Suitable environment My childhood dream was to be an astronaut. I’ve always been fascinated with the stars. I can’t help but imagine God placing the stars and planets in order just... Read more

Almost 2 weeks after the Super Bowl, I am still enjoying the creative commercials that entertained and enticed viewers during the big game. Advertisers tried to get the most bang for their buck while dishing out seven million dollars for a 30-second spot. Since marketing is part of my vocation, I always enjoy the humor and creativity of the commercials. It’s also fun to see celebrities show a lighter side. Who doesn’t enjoy seeing somebody make a fool of themselves?... Read more

This week the big news was the large judgment against former president Trump over his corrupt dealings and business’ fraud in New York. Also, his role in the 2020 election interference in Georgia where I live. Additionally, his hush money payments to a former porn star went to court. We can clearly see the spiritual truths about corruption in the former president’s life; selfishness only satisfies for a season, and eventually, corruption comes to light. Greed Lust Lies Ironically, these... Read more

Over the weekend, I watched some of the Super Bowl for the first time in my life. I am not a fan of the sport and only watched because I was more interested in seeing the halftime performance and what all the hype is about over the romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. I am a hopeless romantic and champion the practice of love. However, my biggest takeaway from the game was how through teamwork, a team can overcome... Read more

This week there’s been a lot of controversy over the Supreme Court. Within the court, there is a rift between two perspectives, conservative justices versus liberal justices. The court is considered the supreme law of the land in America. The entire country and perhaps the world are waiting for its decision on whether citizen Trump should be allowed on the 2024 election ballot after his involvement in the 2021 insurrection the whole world witnessed. However, many have tried to twist... Read more

This week the big news has been how the Republican-controlled House of Representatives have refused to compromise on a border security bill. Despite a bipartisan effort to secure our southern border, the power-hungry party refuses to accept the offer. Because they are beholden to their so-called leader, the representatives keep asking for more and aren’t willing to give any ground. Their corruption has kept them from being content with anything good for the country. Greed Lack of compassion Selfishness The... Read more

This week Apple held its big unveiling of its first all-new product. Apple has become one of the most successful tech companies in the world but always promising consumers more. This fallen world lives off of a selfish consumer mentality. Many people believe the lie that the latest and greatest toys can make them happier. This materialistic perspective is based on the lies of Hedonism. Avoidance of pain. Easy carefree life Promise of pleasure. Growing up in the church in... Read more

Over the last week, we have seen corruption more and more around the world. Ukrainian authorities stole $40 million meant to buy arms for the war against Russia. Worse yet, the UN confirmed that some of its aid workers took part in the Hamas attack on Israel. Corruption is not a political problem it is a human problem.  Corruption happens when what is supposed to be good becomes or does what is evil. It blurs the lines between two spiritual... Read more

So far this year, the United States has seen some pretty crazy weather. We have experienced extreme storms from the West Coast to the East Coast. Unusually high temperatures smothered the South this week. An acquaintance told me he felt like it was hot as Hell. Most people reference  hell in times of high temperatures because they understand the basics about the characteristics of  Hell. Extremely hot Dark Chaos I understand  it sounds a lot like the world we live... Read more

This week the headlines have been about the presidential primary and who will be the GOP candidate. Interviews during the New Hampshire primary reveal that everyone is hoping their candidate will improve life for Americans. Despite Jesus assuring us that we will face trials in this life (John 16:33,) most people are more concerned about being rewarded, than what is good and right according to God. Many are calling for a civil war to ensure they get the results and... Read more
