Here’s the recording of the Keep Me In Your Heart Webinar. Click here. After you get the Webex recording rolling, go to View in the top menu bar and select Video from the pull down menu.
This one addresses the theme “Hair on Fire,” flowing from this Katagiri story:
At a sparsely attended introductory session led by Katagiri Roshi, person after person asked about the physical pain of zazen. Roshi took some time to arrange himself, adjusting his robes and his sitting cushion. Finally, he cleared his throat and stared at the floor a few feet in front of his cushion. Then Roshi said, “You won’t know how much pain you’re in until you are enlightened.”
I also deal with the near-enemies of practicing as if your hair were on fire like masochism and machismo.
I continue to be really encouraged by the possibilities of cyber-dharma work.
I’m committed to offering what teaching and practice I can and welcome offerings in return. If you’d like to make a monetary contribution, please use the PayPal button on the right side-bar.
Thank you.
