Heron Michelle lives in Greenville, North Carolina and is a graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is the mother of two who’ve flown her nest, giving her more time for the writing, art, cooking, crafting, and gardening that she enjoys.
However, her Sacred Mission is as a Witch and Priestess in service to her patrons Aphrodite and Hermes. She is a Reiki Master in Lotus Blossom Usui Reiki Ryoho, and a clairvoyant specializing in past-life retrieval and tarot.
In 2009, Heron opened her witchy shop The Sojourner Whole Earth Provisions. There they engender progressive ideals through a diverse acceptance of all people, transcending race, age, gender, background, sexual preference, culture, and spiritual path.
Beginning in 2010, Heron developed her unique thealogy of Modern Witchcraft into a 48-lesson “Year and a Day” training program. Her program prepared witches for self-initiation through a direct connection to Spirit. That thealogy and practice is featured in Heron’s first book in The Pentacle Path series as: Elemental Witchcraft: A Guide to Living a Magickal Life Through the Elements (Llewellyn Publishing 2021)
The Sojourner Tradition of Modern Witchcraft emerged from that training program as a synchretism of Hermetic Occult Sciences, Wicca and American Modern Witchcraft; both ceremonial and folk magick, and neo-pagan practices from around the world. Heron was honored to serves as the founding High Priestess of The Sojo Circle Coven for many years; however, the circle is currently on hiatus.
