Redneck Jesus – Seriously, This Is A Real Thing

We see a lot of people putting funny and weird spins on Jesus these days. Heck, we are those people.

But we do it as satire in critique of what we feel is the unhealthy phenomenon that is American Christianity.

Redneck Jesus, on the other hand, is serious.

How serious is he? He’s “called by God” serious.

Redneck Jesus isn’t a nickname this guy came up with for himself in an attempt at humor. This guy claims he was given that name directly from God. Not kidding.

It seems God also named him: “Abe Lincoln,” “Future Saint,” “Chosen One,” “King”, and…wait for it….”King of China.”

You can’t make this stuff up.

And that is just the tip of the iceburg. You can check out his website for yourself here (and you really should), but we thought we’d save you some time and give you a few highlights.
