The Year of Faith -- (October 2012 - November 2013)

As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and the 20th Anniversary of the promulgation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Pope Benedict XVI has initiated a Year of Faith, "a time of particular reflection and rediscovery of the faith." Without a doubt, these twelve months will nourish all of us in different ways. Throughout the year, the Catholic Channel at Patheos.com will be inviting Catholics of every age and stripe—clergy, laity, religious and even a few kids—to share their perspectives on faith and to tell us what they are gleaning and carrying away from this gift of timely focus. We will create a little threshing floor to help with the process. Check back weekly, and see what is new!
