Lorna Byrne and the Angels in Her Hair

No, but I have done book signings. And I have done up to five, six, or eight hours of book signings. It was unbelievable.

Do you plan on having any book signings or touring in America?

I hope to, but I have to wait for people to get to know the book. There is no point to a book signing if no one knows the book's there. But I will.

What would you say to those people who think you are lying and that you haven't seen the things you wrote about?

I would say to them that they have nothing to lose from reading the book and opening up themselves to realizing they have a soul and how precious their life is. People have nothing to lose whatsoever. All I can say is that you do have a soul and a guardian angel given from God. God exists and the other side exists as well. Angels will never ask for you to do anything wrong. If you've been asked to do anything wrong or even being spiteful, that is not your angel. But your angel is always there, trying to get you not to listen.

Do you ever read books similar to the one you have written?

No, because I have difficulty reading. It would take me too long. Even when I go to a restaurant, deciphering what is on the menu can be very difficult.

So you still have some reading disabilities. Have they been diagnosed?

I say things backward. Thank God I haven't said anything backward to you! [Laughs.] My family will correct me and that kind of thing. They would say "Mom, you said that backward."

Do you plan to see a specialist?

God and the angels have told me all I need to know. They have been the best teachers.

Then how did you write the book? Was it difficult for you?

It was very difficult. At first, it was put onto little tapes. Then another miracle happened; someone that I had just met bought one of those Dell computers that you could just speak into and gave it to me as a present. Than another stranger that had heard about the gift came along and set the whole thing up for me. Miracles like that just keep on happening.

Well, thank you for talking with us today about your story.

I will tell your guardian angel to pull out a few stops for you.

Thank you, I appreciate it.
