With book launches, radio shows, TV Shows, Tele-summits, and speaking opportunities, time is a challenge. Thank goodness I don’t have a baby right now, too, but do have an understanding husband.  With so much going on in our lives, what can we do to make the most of it all? Tie it together!

Many of us have worked hard to build our platform. Now it is time to put it to good use for success.

Imagine that your social media outlets were food in the grocery store and you must sort through them to choose the correct ones for dinner.

1.)           Choose what meets your needs to cook the meal. A grocery list helps the shopper stay focused in a sea of choices.

2.)           The next step is locating the correct produce in the store without getting distracted. Everyone wants to sell their “stuff” and they are experts at drawing attention to their product.

3.)           The last step is to COMBINE your choices for a successful meal that meets your nutritional needs and desires.

Selecting and combing social media modalities is much like shopping in a store. Focus is a time saver. A good recipe can ensure success.

As lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, oil and vinegar can make a successful salad so too can a blog, Facebook pages, Twitter, LinkedIn and radio shows be combined for a successful Social Media dish.

A powerful and successful social media push described in the next part is as easy as 1, 2, 3, because it uses what you already have in your social media toolbox, combines it and connects it to your platform. Your success is served to you on a platter and it takes so little time you can do it daily, weekly or monthly, depending on your needs.

One thing I do is schedule my blogs from PATHEOS to repost a number of times throughout the weeks and months on my social media pages because new people come onto my pages all the time.

You could say I’m feeding my numbers and they are growing.

Since my Facebook and Twitter pages are connected, as are LinkedIn posts on Twitter and Facebook, one post automatically goes onto Twitter from multiple social media venues to reach my peeps.

Here is another easy way  to make the most of your work by connecting with other people.

When I interview someone on my radio or TV show and blog it I send them, and the Public Relations company the PATHEOS blog link, so they can post it on their website since the blog or VLOG (Video Blog) is about their client’s book. The guest interviewed posts it on their social media pages and website. This can help the blog go viral and put you at the top of the page in the search engines.

The key to success is to reach as many people as possible by making the blog about messages in the book that are “Evergreen.” Evergreen messages never go out of style and are not dated.

Another key to success is to invite your guest to promote you promoting them. It is a win-win situation of Super Social Media Networking where you both reap the benefits you sowed.

The VIDEO cooking show below was blogged, published in Women’s Voices Magazine, and all tied together on multiple social media outlets.

Look at your successes, blogs, published articles, interviews, etc.  How can you tie them together and post them on social media for a success that is bigger than the sum of its individual parts? Start today.
