Thank God for Professionals!

In honor of my sister’s birthday, I pass along this story from alert reader Jim Horn…

A flustered woman hurried to the pharmacy to get medication for her
sick child, got back to her car and saw that she had locked her keys
inside. She found a rusty coat hanger on the ground, looked at it and
said to herself, “I don’t know how to use this.”

Not knowing what to do, the woman bowed her head and asked God
for help. Within a few minutes a rough-looking, tattooed man on an old
motorcycle wearing a skull rag pulled up. He got off of his bike and
asked if he could help.

She said: “My daughter is sick and I must get home with this medicine,
but I’ve locked my keys in my car. Please, can you use this hanger to
open the car?”

The man said, “Sure.” He walked over to the car, and in a few seconds
it was open. She hugged him and through tears said, “Thank you, God,
for sending me such a very nice man.”

The man heard her little prayer and replied, “Lady, I am not a nice man.
I just got out of prison yesterday after serving time for car theft.”

The woman hugged the man again, sobbing, “Oh, thank you, God!
You even sent me a professional!”
