Justice for Unpalatable People

Perhaps the best real test of our sense of justice or fairness comes when we have to be just or fair to a repulsive character.

I try to be just and fair, so here are a couple of links:

The ultimate test, though, must surely be to show restraint with regard to this man, a consummate jackass and a foul-mouthed misogynist (reader beware) who has given a million dollars to the Super-PAC that supports Barack Obama’s effort to hold on to the American presidency:
