One More on Vicarious Baptisms on Behalf of Deceased Jews

I missed this very hard-hitting article from back at the end of February.  It was written by a Latter-day Saint whose pro-Jewish credibility cannot reasonably be disputed, concerning the recurring controversy about vicarious Latter-day Saint baptisms on behalf of deceased Jews:

I confess to sharing some of his impatience with this controversy and, even more so, with those who’ve been working overtime to keep it aflame.  And it astonishes me when others presume to tell Latter-day Saints in the name of religious tolerance that we should change our fundamental doctrines and abandon practices that are fundamental to our faith.

I’ve already treated this controversy here and here and here and here and here.
