“Sustaining Moderate Islam”

Tomorrow night — between 7:30 and 9:00 PM, Thursday, 5 April 2012 — an important symposium on “Sustaining Moderate Islam” will be held at Brigham Young University under the auspices of the University’s Wheatley Institution:

The symposium will occur in the Assembly Hall of the Gordon B. Hinckley Center (shown above).  Parking is available directly across the street, to the east.  Admission, as always, is free.

I would strongly recommend that anybody planning to attend also plan to arrive somewhat early.  One can never tell — sometimes events there have been fairly sparsely attended, while sometimes they’ve been standing-room only — but it’s better, on the whole, to have a seat than not to have one.
