Today is a Day for Interesting Conferences in Northern Utah

The Logan Utah Temple
of the Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints

If you’re in the area (broadly defined) today, don’t fail to go to the “Temple on Mount Zion” conference in Provo.  (This is the first conference to be sponsored by the new Interpreter Foundation.)  And remember that it’s not on the campus of Brigham Young University.

I, alas, will not be able to be there, as I’m up here in Logan on the third day of the annual symposium of the Society for Mormon Philosophy and Theology (SMPT) — which has also been very worthwhile.  (I’m the current president of the SMPT, so it would be a bit awkward, to say the least, for me to skip out on it.)  Things here, held in the University Inn right on the campus of Utah State University, continue until 5:30 PM.
