“Be not moved.”

A scene at Camp Koholowo

I’m speaking to a group of Young Women — from another stake, not my own — tonight, at Camp Koholowo up Santaquin Canyon, well south of Provo, Utah.  The theme I’ve been asked to address is “Be not moved,” taken from the Church’s youth theme for this year:  “Wherefore, stand ye in holy places, and be not moved, until the day of the Lord come” (Doctrine and Covenants 87:8).

The audience will include girls from twelve to eighteen years of age — a pretty wide range.  This is a bit out of my comfort zone.  I have no sisters and I have no daughters, and I typically speak to college students and older.

Pray for me!

Speak as you do at education week. I was 14 when I heard Truman Madsen at a CES event decades ago. I fell in love. I’ve loved listening to and reading the church scholars ever since. They more than make up for SS.
