Have I done any good in the world today?

I’m not quite sure whether I can measure up to this high standard:

Thanks for Ira Laney for this one.

But I’m trying.  If it isn’t Westboro Baptist, at least I can still hope for somebody.  A few months ago, a few message-board critics of mine vowed that, when I die — which they plainly hope will be sooner rather than later — they’ll join together to desecrate my grave.  (It was a charming little conversation, as you can tell.)

When you die Dan, I’ll plan on setting up a “Dan’s Grave Cam” and stream it live on the net so that we can have even more evidence of just how ridiculous these people are when they have their little desecration party.

When you do, please send me the URL. I don’t know what my Internet access will be, yet, but I’ll get the address to you when I can.

Ha! I’m sure they have faster than Google fiber internet where you are going.

Heck, where I’m going they probably still use Kaypro computers and floppy disks.

We shall honor the great Professor Peterson. We might not always agree but we will defend your right to your free speech. :)

I once read a person’s near death experience that took place in the 1950s. One of the unusual things he mentioned was seeing people siting in front of what looked like television screens and typing on a typewriter keyboard. That not only predated personal computers, it predated computer terminals with electronic screens and keyboards connected to mainframe.computers. The imagination of most people pictures heaven (or the spirit world) as a technologically primitive place. By contrast, the Book of Mormon describes the Liahona as a combination compass and GPS device, sixteen stones are caused by God to shine, and.God gives the.Brother of Jared two stones for use in translating. God seems to be happy to use high tech devices.
