The Good Life

Mount Timpanogos

A pleasant evening out among friends from our church, at a wonderful facility owned by a family in our congregation.  Good food — especially welcome to me as my wife is out of the country — good friends, good conversations, and surprising talents.

It’s a wonderful thing to be part of a caring, friendly community.

I’m saddened when I run into people who aren’t.

I was just now reading, too, about what a hateful and intolerant bunch we Mormons are.  Maybe it’s our shared nastiness that helps us to get along so well with one another?
